To participate in the Battery Booster Program and avail of the rebates for solar battery systems, applicants must meet specific criteria

Maximum Income Threshold

Applicants must have a combined annual household taxable income of $180,000 or less.

Battery Purchase Date

Eligibility applies to home battery systems purchased after the official launch of the program in early 2024.
Batteries bought prior to the program's start date or before receiving conditional approval as part of the application process will not qualify.

Minimum Battery System Size

The battery system must be a minimum of 6 kilowatt-hours (kWh).
A list of approved battery systems will be published on our website upon the program's launch

Approved Battery Systems

Only battery systems from the approved list will be eligible for the rebate.
